1 Day Course

OUTLINE

The aim of this course is to allow you to explore and experiment with shape and form. This 1 Day course will let you create designs through manipulating sheets of metal. Forms will be created through hammering, bending and folding the material. This course is a great opportunity to learn ways of manipulating metal and creating designs that are well thought out, unique, and creative. At the end of the day, your skills will have been applied and you will have created your own piece of jewellery.

YOU WILL LEARN

• soldering, shaping, cutting, texturing metal, polishing
• bending, hammering, and stretching metal

YOU WILL MAKE

• a piece of jewellery of your choice

TOOLS

You will lean to use a piercing saw, soldering torch, mandrills, files, metal and rawhide hammers.

SUITABLE FOR

Those with no previous experience and a great taster for those taking their first steps into a creative field.
