The aim of this course is to teach you a range of jewellery making skills and techniques and to gain a greater understanding of the jewellery making process. Throughout the course you will learn various making techniques to create a number of jewellery pieces such as earrings, rings, bangle and pendant. You will be working with copper to practise techniques such as cutting metal, texturing, shaping, soldering and polishing and final pieces will be made in silver. The course takes place in a fully equipped jewellery making studio and provides a great learning environment to develop your creativity and do something fun with like-minded people.

You will learn to use a piercing saw, soldering torch, mandrels, doming punches, files, metal and rawhide hammers and rolling mill.
Those with no previous experience and a great taster for those taking their first steps into a creative field.
