Our Vision

At VS Jewellery School, our focus is on teaching people how to become creative thinkers and accomplished designer-makers.

Our school offers professional courses tailored to suit beginners and advanced students. We teach traditional hands-on techniques together with a contemporary approach to design, and our students learn from highly experienced lecturers who can provide real-life insight into the world of jewellery.

We deliver courses that challenge and stretch your ability and expectations. Steeped in centuries-old methodologies, our approach to teaching cultivates a sense of curiosity, encouraging creativity and enriching the learning experience.

Our aim is to help every aspiring jewellery maker to tap into their own creativity and realise their dreams and ambitions. This supportive and nurturing environment is the perfect place to begin that journey.

Experienced

We are specialists in the field of jewellery making and jewellery education. Our lecturers are practicing designer-makers, so you can be assured that you will receive a high level of teaching and practical experience.

Creative

We provide a warm, supportive and creative environment. Our lecturers encourage all students to express their creativity through jewellery making. There is real joy in making beautiful pieces by hand and they share that enjoyment.

Location

Located at the heart of Hatton Garden, the traditional jewellery quarter and creative heart of London, the school benefits from easy access to public transport.

Career focused

Courses are practical and hands-on, ensuring that students are armed with strong making and design skills to support their continued progression following completion of their courses at the School of Jewellery Design, Vannetta Seecharran. We support students who want to set up their own studio or continue to higher education within the field.

I attended a 5 week Silver-smiths Course at this school and I must say, it was well worth the money. The instructor Linda Robertson, was a wealth of tips and invaluable information. I highly recommend the course.

Fabulous course and a great instructor - very small numbers means you get lots of one-on-one time with the instructor and there is a lot of flexibility around what you learn if you have any specific requests. There's an emphasis on getting it right, rather than just getting a piece out of it, which sets you up well if you're looking to take it further.
