OUTLINE
This 5 week Silversmithing, Forms and Vessels course, taught by the extremely talented Linda Robertson, will teach you how to create vessels and hollow forms, developing practical ideas into finished pieces. This course is suited to those who already have some metalwork skills, and who wish to expand on these. Throughout the course, you will learn advanced techniques such as hollow construction, press forming, hand raising, large scale soldering, and the construction of a container. You will experiment with a range of tools, from hammers to press formers and mandrels. By the end of the 6 weeks, you will have advanced your metalwork skills, developed ideas and produced beautiful, polished final pieces.
