Courses are practical and hands-on, ensuring that students are armed with strong making and design skills to support their continued progression following completion of their courses at the School of Jewellery Design, Vannetta Seecharran. We support students who want to set up their own studio or continue to higher education within the field.
I loved this class as it gave me some first impressions of what it means to become a metal/silversmith. Time went by really fast. Should time and finances allow it I will book more classes.
I took part in the 1 week Beginners Silver Jewellery course. We learned a range of techniques including soldering, shaping and stone setting. At the end of the week I had made silver earrings, a silver ring and a stone set ring. The tutor was extremely helpful, and the classes had a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Great place for anyone thinking of trying out jewellery making!
Great jewellery courses that focus not only on techniques but also the design process and how to develop your own look and feel. Location is also amazing, in the thick of London’s jewellery making district which s very handy for supplies and services.
